London - An inquiry into the serial-killing GP, Harold Shipman, is to be held in Manchester, it was announced yesterday.

London - An inquiry into the serial-killing GP, Harold Shipman, is to be held in Manchester, it was announced yesterday.

The decision followed a meeting between the inquiry chairman, Lord Laming, and Mr Tom Pendry MP, whose Stalybridge and Hyde constituency includes Shipman's surgery and the homes of many of his victims.
