Calcutta - Authorities in Calcutta have ordered an inquiry into the deaths of more than 100 new-born babies over a three-month period in one state-run hospital, officials said.
"I am not sure of the figure but I am told it is quite high. We have ordered an inquiry by a senior medical official into the causes of the deaths," Mr Partha De, Health Minister of the state of West Bengal, said.
