Independent News & Media is to sell its half-share cable TV operator Chorus to Liberty Media for an undisclosed sum.
Independent said Chorus was no longer core to its operations.
Liberty Media holds interests in a number globally branded entertainment networks such as Discovery Channel, USA Interactive and QVC.
