Liam Watson will miss Sunday's Christy Ring Cup final when Antrim take on Carlow at Croke Park.
The Antrim hitman suffered double fracture to his hand at the weekend. In the Carlow camp Shane Kavanagh got a call-up after returning to Ireland from the States in recent weeks.
The winners of Sunday's game will earn promotion to next year's Liam McCarthy Cup. The game on Sunday will serve as the curtain-raiser to the Cork versus Waterford All-Ireland Hurling semi-final.
