Solicitors working in the main courthouse serving Connemara, Co Galway, are to consider taking an injunction against the Department of Justice seeking long awaited renovations of the building.

A Clifden solicitor, Mr J.J. Mannion, said conditions were so bad that the injunction option had to be considered. The presiding judge and court clerk had to sit on newspapers during court sessions because the place was so damp.
