A number of businesses in an industrial estate at Gort Road, Ennis, obtained an injunction in the High Court yesterday over a nearby site being occupied by travellers.
Mr Justice Kelly granted an interlocutory injunction restraining Clare County Council from continuing or permitting to continue acts of nuisance which were stated to be taking place on the site.
The judge put a stay on his order until next Monday, when, he indicated, the council could outline the steps it proposed to take.
