New Delhi - India gave a guarded welcome yesterday to the unilateral declaration of a three-month ceasefire by a pro-Pakistan Kashmiri militant group, saying it was watching the situation closely.
A Home Ministry spokesman said: "Any move which points towards peace is welcome. Government, however, will be watching the situation closely and make its assessment later."
