Two RUC officers are reportedly being questioned about alleged acts of indecency at public toilets in Co Tyrone. They are among a number of people interviewed following a surveillance operation in Omagh.
An RUC spokesman said: "Those under investigation come from various walks of life." He added that it was never the force's policy to reveal the profession of those under investigation.
