PARIS - Several thousand protesters staged a new demonstration in Paris yesterday against a controversial immigration Bill, which is going through the final parliamentary stage before becoming law.
The protest was over the so called Debre Bill - named after its author, the Interior Minister, Mr Jean Louis Debre - which strengthens measures aimed at clamping down on illegal immigrants.
