PARIS - Some 40 African mothers and their children occupied a town hall in Pans in an attempt to get residence papers, a local council official said yesterday. They are among around 300 immigrants who occupied a Paris church in March to draw attention to their urgent request for official papers to allow them to stay legally in France.
