Dublin based clinical research company ICON reported a 30 per cent  rise in quarterly revenues to $77 million  and said it is attracting strong volume of new business.

Income from operations increased 42 per cent over the company's fiscal third quarter which ended on February 29th this year.

In the nine months to February 29th, net revenues were $219.0 million, representing a 37 per cent on the same period of last year. Excluding the impact of acquisitions, revenue growth was 24 per cent higher for the nine months.

ICON has approximately 2,450 employees providing services to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries from 33 locations in 20 countries worldwide.
