MANAGUA - Hurricane Cesar's death toll rose to 18 yesterday, as the storm pounded Nicaragua's coastal islands and destroyed thousand of homes before being down graded into a tropical depression. Packing maximum sustained winds of 80 miles an hour, Cesar battered Corn Island and Little Corn Island off Nicaragua's Caribbean coast near Bluefields late Saturday.
