Hunt Museum appoints author

The Pulitzer prize-winning author of Angela's Ashes, Mr Frank McCourt, has been invited to join the board of the Hunt Museum in Limerick. Dr Tony Ryan, chairman of the board, making the announcement yesterday, said he was pleased to welcome Mr McCourt with his "extra dimension to the skills of the existing board members". Mr John Hunt, director, also welcomed Mr McCourt and said the museum had already become "part of the fabric of Limerick city".
