The Health and Safety Authority is investigating the death of a man in a Galway recycling plant yesterday evening.
The victim (22) died in an industrial accident at the Barna Waste recycling facility on the Headford Road at Carrowbone shortly after 6 p.m. The man, who is from Co Galway, died at the scene.
The site of the accident has been sealed off for investigation by the HSA. Gardaí are also investigating.
