An order for the repossession of the house of a Rathfarnham woman, who owed more than £14,000 arrears on mortgage repayments, has been granted to the First Active Building Society. Ms Margaret Heneghan, counsel for the society, told Judge Michael White in Dublin Circuit Civil Court yesterday that Ms Mary Breen Farrelly, of Fairbrook Lawn, Rathfarnham, had not made repayments since October 1997. Ms Heneghan said the society had learned that Ms Breen Farrelly was now living in London. Judge White granted a stay of six months on the possession order to give Ms Breen Farrelly an opportunity to meet the arrears bill.
