An appeal against a court decision blocking the sale for £400,000 of a Co Dublin house, which was home to two elderly sisters and has an estimated present value of some £2 million, will resume next week at the High Court.

Eileen and Rose Blackall, of Blackrock, Co Dublin, have been involved on numerous occasions in legal proceedings relating to the house.

In the latest proceedings, the building company Chessington Ltd is appealing a Circuit Court decision blocking the sale of the property to the company. Mr Justice Finnegan said he would resume the hearing next Wednesday.
