A homeless man appeared before Dublin District Court yesterday charged with causing £1 million worth of damage to two fishing vessels in Howth Harbour. Mr Richard Trimble (25), originally from Dublin city, was facing two charges of causing criminal damage to the Supreme and Fleetwood Lady in the north Dublin harbour early yesterday and two charges of larceny. He was remanded in custody until Friday.
