BERNE - The Swiss National Bank said yesterday it had no evidence that coins it minted after the second World War were made with gold stolen from Holocaust victims.

Replying to questions about allegations made in a BBC television documentary, the central bank vice-chairman, Mr Jean-Pierre Roth, said SNB tests found no indication that coins minted after the war might have come from gold remelted from victims' teeth.
