THE Moy, a pub and former hotel in Pearse Street, Ballina, was sold yesterday at auction for £360,000. It was bought in trust by Mr Harry Wynne, solicitor, Boyle, Co Roscommon.

The Moy, owned by the McMonagle and Cooke families since 1936, has been a part of the historical, social and commercial life of the Ballina area for over 100 years.
