The Fianna Fail TD, Mr Colm Hilliard, will retire from politics at the next election.
The Co Meath TD announced yesterday that he will not contest either the Dail or Meath County Council elections again although he will finish his term in office. He will be 60 years old in May. A Fianna Fail convention to elect a successor will be held on May 8th.
