A 67-year-old man wanted in the UK on charges of indecently assaulting a young girl more than 25 years ago appeared before the High Court following his arrest by gardaí yesterday.
UK authorities wish to extradite London-born John Anthony Howell, who faces five charges of indecent assault between 1979 and 1984. Mrs Justice Maureen Clark made the case returnable before the High Court to a date this month.
