Heuston rail services resume

Rail services into Dublin's Heuston station have resumed following a suspension earlier this evening.

Rail services into Dublin's Heuston station have resumed following a suspension earlier this evening.

However, Irish Rail said there would delays for the rest of the evening following an earlier incident at Kishogue station.

Both Intercity and commuter services to and from Heuston are likely to be affected.

Irish Rail said bus transfers will be provided for customers from Portarlington, Kildare, Newbridge and Sallins to Heuston.

Passengers will also be accommodated on Intercity services from Heuston, which will make additional stops.
