Auckland - New Zealand customs officers said yesterday they had seized high-grade heroin worth more than NZ$50 million (£34 million) at Auckland airport, the highest-value drug haul in the country's history. Customs officials said they had arrested two Vietnamese men who arrived from Bangkok last Thursday after receiving a tip-off from colleagues in Thailand about the 10.3 kg consignment.
