Building materials and DIY group Heiton Holdings has acquired Waterford-based plumbing and heating firm Paddy Power & Company.
Paddy Power, which had turnover of €8 million last year and employs 21 people, supplies residential and commercial heating and plumbing materials.
The Irish DIY business - which includes the Atlantic Homecare chain - says there will be no redundancies at Paddy Power, which will continue to operate the business in the medium term.
