A unique cross-border and cross-community event will take place next Wednesday, April 29th, when 400 singers and musicians present Joseph Haydn's oratorio, "The Creation", in the Waterfront Hall, Belfast.

The performance marks both the 200th anniversary of the first performance of "The Creation" in Vienna, and the centenary year of the Culwick Choral Society, who are joint organisers of the project with the Studio Symphony Orchestra of Belfast. Other groups participating include the Setanta Choir of Dundalk, the Belfast Philharmonic Orchestra, Larne Choral Society, and Armagh City Choir. A special train will depart from Connolly Station, Dublin, at 4:15 p.m. returning after the performance. The fare, which includes the performance, is £29. Tickets can be booked through Iarnrod Eireann, 35 Lower Abbey Street, Dublin 1; or by credit card at 01-7031839.
