Hauliers are in talks today with Government officials over the rising cost of fuel.

"The Irish Road Haulage Association has highlighted its grave concerns for the Irish economy as fuel prices continue to increase with no end in sight," the organisation said today.

IRHA president Jimmy Quinn is representing the body at the talks and is expected to comment on the outcome later.
