Harvey Norman Australia’s biggest electronics retailer, said all its stores in Ireland are losing money amid sales that have slumped as much as 40 per cent.

The company said it will “persist” with its 16 Irish outlets and attempt to turn around the business, Chairman Gerry Harvey said in an interview today.

It said sales in its Irish stores during the second half were down 20 to 40 per cent.
