The Eoghan Harris memo to Derek Nally on how the candidate should present himself appeared in the Sunday Times and the Sunday Tribune at the weekend. Not surprisingly, they were practically identical - except for one intriguing paragraph.

The Tribune version included the words "as Finola Bruton's well received speech on feminism proved some months ago". The Sunday Times omitted this bit. Harris is a columnist on the Sun- day Times. Had he a hand in Mrs Bruton's speech too? News of Harris's lunch with John Bruton broke last Friday.
