The break up of the Coalition and a general election in April 1997 was predicted by the leader of the Progressive Democrats, Ms Mary Harney, last night. Speaking in Cork, she said she believed Democratic Left would pull out of the Coalition early next year following difficulties in agreeing the annual Budget.
