Former minister for health Mary Harney has joined the board of the Irish Hospice Foundation (IHF).
In taking up the unpaid position, Ms Harney becomes part of a non- executive board of directors which governs the IHF.
IHF chairman Michael O’Reilly said be believed the organisation “will benefit substantially”.
