A study to assess the infrastructural needs of Cromane Harbour in Kerry has been commissioned by the Minister for the Marine, Mr Woods. He made the announcement yesterday after meeting local interest groups and representatives, including Mr Jackie Healy-Rae TD. The study will assess the development options for the harbour, including a mussel fishery expected to produce a 4,000-tonne catch this year.
