Happier homes scheme launched

Dublin Corporation yesterday announced a scheme to make its estates "safer and happier places" for their 70,000 tenants.

Dublin Corporation yesterday announced a scheme to make its estates "safer and happier places" for their 70,000 tenants.

Helping People to Build Communities is about giving residents a greater say in how their estates are run, said city manager Mr John Fitzgerald. As part of the initiative 30 estate managers will be available to meet tenants to deal with any problems.
