A handgun and 15 rounds of ammunition have been seized following the search of a house in Limerick.
Gardaí carried out the planned search of the house on Shanabooley Road, Ballynanty yesterday evening as part of an ongoing investigation into criminal activity in the area.
No arrests were made and investigations are continuing.
