Johannesburg - A South African gunman killed seven members of the same family yesterday, including two young children, the South African Press Association (SAPA) reported.
A 13-year-old girl was the only person to escape the bloody shooting spree on a family farm close to Prince Alfred Hamlet in the Western Cape. The two children were aged three and seven, police said. In addition to killing the children's mother, the gunman killed her three sisters and the husband of one of them. All seven were shot in the head.
