Two Irish Girl Guides have been invited to Russia to run a three-day training workshop on public relations and communications.
Petronelle Clifton Brown, of Cashel, Co Tipperary, and Rose Michael, of Malahide, Co Dublin, left yesterday.
The invitation was issued by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. (WAGGGS). Ireland's is one of 136 member organisations making up the association, which has 8.5 million members.
