The Taoiseach said he had met about 12 representative groups to discuss the high number of road traffic accidents. Mr Ahern added the meeting had agreed that speed was a factor. A number of suggestions were made which the Government would look at, he added. He was replying to the Labour leader, Mr Dick Spring, on the Order of Business.
