A terminally-ill man who got his dying wish and was married in a poignant wedding ceremony in Cork last month has passed away.

Eric Shroder (30), from Spain, who was told earlier this summer that he had less than a month to live, married Englishwoman Lynnette Coxall on June 24th in Cork.

The couple brought their wedding forward and local businesses donated cars, cakes, wedding dresses, flowers and jewellery to the couple. Soprano Cara O’Sullivan also donated her services.
