A jury has been sworn in at the Central Criminal Court to try a 23-year-old Greystones man charged with murdering another Greystones man last year.

Thomas O’Connor, of Burnaby Heights in the town, is accused of murdering John O’Brien of Burnaby Lawns on June 4th, 2010. Mr O’Connor has pleaded not guilty to committing the crime at Farrankelly Road, Delgany, in Wicklow.

The trial, which will start this morning, is expected to last three weeks.
