Draft proposals for a Bill to create a modern legal framework within which the greyhound industry will operate were approved by the Government earlier this week.

The proposals were put forward by the Minister of State for Agriculture, Mr Jimmy Deenihan. He hopes that the Bill will be ready for publication and introduction to the Dail in the first half of next year.
