Greens seek cycle lanes

Mr Ciaran Cuffe (Green Party) said yesterday he would like to see 2.5 per cent of local authority transport budgets allocated to the provision of facilities such as cycle lanes. "Forty cyclists die on Irish roads every year, often in collisions involving lorries," he said.
