Greens, oppose concerts proposal

The Green Party has described as "draconian" a proposal to end standing concerts for all seater events. Following a recent report by the Department of the Environment, which recommends that indoor concerts should be all seated, Mr Ciaran Cuffe, party candidate in Dublin Central, said the proposal would destroy the atmosphere at concerts.
