Nicosia - Four Greek fighter jets yesterday flew twice over a recently completed airbase in southern Cyprus which has raised regional tensions with Turkey.

The official Cyprus News Agency said that the Greek F16 fighters were participating in a two-day joint exercise of Greek and Cypriot air defence systems code-named "Toxotis" which began yesterday.
