Grant details for students abroad

Full details of the extension of third level maintenance grants to students attending EU colleges will be published in May, the Minister for Education has said. In a letter to the Fine Gael TD, Mr Paul Connaughton, Ms Breathnach said the extended scheme would apply from the beginning of the next academic year. A similar means test would apply as with those now getting grants in Irish colleges.
