The Taoiseach's departure for Paris was delayed yesterday when the Government jet developed a fault and had to be grounded.
Mr Bruton was forced to travel by commercial fight to Paris and had to reschedule his lunchtime meeting with the Dutch Prime Minister, Mr Wim Kok, for later in the afternoon.
