MADRID - Spain's Supreme Court investigator found no evidence linking the outgoing Prime Minister, Mr Felipe Gonzalez, to charges related to a 1980s "dirty war" against Basque separatists, court sources said yesterday.

They said the court would not seek parliamentary permission to have Mr Gonzalez testify and would "in all probability" issue a writ today or on Monday rejecting complaints filed against him and other high officials.
