A 17-year-old girl has been subjected to a serious sexual assault in Co Down, police said today.
Detectives are investigating the alleged incident in Kilkeel on Friday night. The teenage girl was in the Greencastle Street area when she was targeted at around 11.30pm.
Her alleged attacker is described as being in his late teens, 5ft 10ins tall, of thin build with short brown hair. Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
