The body of Sylvia Fleming (17) of Omagh was cut into eight pieces before being buried under a house two years ago, the trial of her former boyfriend heard yesterday.

The Ballymena Crown Court trial of Mr Stephen Scott (28) was told that the remains of the pregnant teenager were buried under the foundations of a Co Tyrone house.

She was murdered on April 4th, 1998, but her dismembered body was not found for nearly eight weeks when Mr Paul Rigby (21), who is awaiting sentence for conspiracy, took police to the building site.

Mr Scott denies murdering her but admits dismembering her body.
