An 11 year old school girl was killed instantly yesterday morning when she was struck by a vehicle while walking with friends on Monastery Road, Doon, Co Limerick. She was Ciara McKenna of Hillgrove, Doon. Another girl was injured and taken to Limerick Regional Hospital where her condition was described as comfortable.
