Girl killed by bus in Cork

A 14 year old girl was fatally injured yesterday when she was knocked down by a bus as she crossed the road in Carrigaline, Co Cork. Sarah Walsh, who lived locally, was hit by the Bus Eireann vehicle at approximately 4.30 p.m. She died some time later at University Hospital Cork. Gardai in Cork have issued an appeal for any witnesses to come forward.
