Mr John Gilligan (44), who is charged under drug trafficking legislation, was further remanded in custody for ones week at Belmarsh Magistrates, Court in London yesterday.
Mr Gilligan, from Dublin, was arrested at Heathrow Airport on October 6th, 1996, as he attempted to board a flight for Amsterdam. He was carrying £300,000 in cash in his hand luggage.
